I was 15 years old in 1963, still full of pimples and incredibly shy. I still had to find out about the Blues, but Rock ruled for me. And all the money I could get hold of, I spent on singles and LPs.

It would be the year I wold take my frist stay to London, and I wold discover British music.

The American Folk Flues Festival was touring for the second year already, inspired by a German (German?) Journalist, Joachim-Ernst Berendt, and promoted by a team of German (Germans once again? Odd thing!) impresarios, Lippmann+Rau.

Funny thing that was, and funny music. Yet those guis even made it to the British TV.
