I accidentally ran into Jimmie Rodgers' only video, "THE SINGING BRAKEMAN", while browsing YouTube in search for other stuff. I simply couldn't resist, I had po make a post out of it.

Yet, that was the only movie he ever made, all other videos were featuring his soundtrack, but showing stills or a slideshow, so I couldn't use them for this blog.

So, I thought to give you some of his best covers, and believe me, it wasn't easy to decide. I had to leave lots of great performers out of it. But now it's all here for you to enjoy:
