PURE ROCK & ROLL:

Chuck Berry's Guitar

CHUCK BERRY

Maybe not as famous as Elvis Presley ,but as influential as Robert Johnson, and certainly loger lasting of both of them, Chuck Berry is one of these musicians whose songs are known by all, if even not all know who the author is.

Just think of "Johnny B. Goode". It has been recorded and performed by the likes of Bill Haley & His Comets, Buck Owens, Elvis Presley, Johnny Winter, Peter Tosh, Prince, The Grateful Dead, The Rolling Stones and The Sex Pistols. But many of them and lots of other bands covered several of his most successful stuff, making Chuck Berry one of the most successful authors in the history of Rock & Roll.

Not only, but Berry's musical career started in his teenage years in the early '40s and his last live performances were last year, at the age of 81, se he's also one of the few original rockers of the 1950s with Jerry Lee Lewis still alive and kicking.

'Nuff said ladies and gents, sit down, and relax if you can,...Here he comes:
